Microphlebectomy
This is for the treatment of Varicose Veins that are too large for the laser to effectively remove. This is done in our office as an Out-Patient procedure, with a local tumescent anesthetic. Phlebectomy is relatively simple, yet a very effective procedure. Dr. Hrdlicka will make tiny 2mm incisions at the affected area to extract the vein with the use of special instrument. This has superior cosmetic results, and scarring is kept at an extreme minimum. Patients can resume normal activity 2 days after the procedure.
